News from WorldCon - GRRM gave some information on Aegon's Conquest. This was the part liked the most:
The Dornish Princess, Mariya Martell was 80 years old, and had ruled for 60 years. She was fat, blind, and almost bald.
Called "The Yellow Toad of Dorne" by Argilac the Arrogant (The Storm King at the time)
When Rhaenys Targaryen came and asked the King of Dorne to yeild to the Targaryens - She would not yeild.
"Dorne has no King, tell your brother that."
"This is Dorne. You are not wanted here. Return at your peril."
Dorne remained unconquered. They did not join the rule of the Iron Throne for another 200 years.
